Today UNFCCC approved the verification of emission reductions realized within 2009 of an Energy Efficiency JI project at EMSS, developed by Global Carbon, 2 February 2010
Today the UNFCCC approved the emission reductions in total amount of 159,244 tonnes CO2e, for the period from 1 January 2009 till 30 September 2009 that were generated as a result of implementation of energy efficiency measures at the production facilities of Energomashspetsstal (EMSS), in Ukraine. This JI project reduces direct and indirect CO2emissions from the production of steel and steel details, which will be sold as ERUs on the international emission reduction market. This is the second verification that becomes final for this project.
